Generally, no. You don’t need a GP referral to see a Leaf Doctors Doctor. Just complete the eligibility quiz and book. In some cases your Doctor may ask for supporting information, such as a letter from your GP or specialist, and will let you know if that’s needed.

Your initial consultation takes about 10 minutes. Your Doctor will go through your health history, discuss whether treatment is suitable, and outline your options and costs. Please complete our medical history form before your appointment. Follow-up consultations are usually shorter and focus on how your treatment is going and any adjustments you need.
Regular follow-ups are an important part of your care. They let your Doctor check your progress, adjust your dose or product, and renew your prescription. Follow-ups are always $0.

Once your order is placed in the patient portal, you can choose how to receive it:

If you wish to transfer your treatment or request the release of your prescription to another clinic or pharmacy, please speak with our Patient Care Team. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, and we may request payment of $99 to cover the administration costs associated with transferring your treatment.
Please note that Leaf Doctors reserves the right to decline transfer or prescription release requests where the treating Doctor or clinic determines your case is clinically complex or requires closer monitoring to ensure safe, appropriate, and compliant prescribing and dispensing.

If you’d like to increase or decrease your prescription amount, you’ll need to book a follow-up consultation with one of our Doctors. They’ll be able to review your current prescriptions and discuss any changes that may be suitable for you.
